“Our” Role in Informing Good Decision Making
The policy and regulatory landscape is complex, with major implications for all sectors of the OAE community. This session consists of two parts. First we’ll begin with global case studies from the scientific, civil society, and private sectors about current and planned efforts to engage with decision makers, with examples from Canada, China, EU, Germany, as well as the International Maritime Organization. Second, we’ll have a lively panel discussion about building community level collaborations, public and tribal engagement, and explore recent guidance and transferable experiences from outside the OAE community.
