Scale and Cost: OAE’s place in the CDR portfolio

An exciting attribute of OAE is the variety of possible pathways, offering different alkalinity sources, processing methods, and deployment solutions — each with their own challenges and opportunities. In this session, RMI and Carbon to Sea share findings about two recent assessments that highlight the TRL status and critical unlocks of different OAE pathways. This will be followed by presentations from philanthropic, governmental, and private sector representatives to share their unique approaches to helping OAE climb the TRL ladder. The session is introduced and facilitated by Carbon to Sea’s Board Chair Mike Schroepfer.
